Welcome to Starvard. Starvard is a free educational project created by The Studio and set in the world of E2. By reading, watching, or otherwise using this site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. There will be no hard feelings and no final exam.

1. What Starvard is

Starvard publishes free courses, lessons, and reading material for general education and entertainment. Courses are free of charge, require no application, and carry no deadlines. Please also read our Disclaimer, which is part of these terms and which says, in plain language, that content here may be wrong.

2. Not an accredited institution

Starvard is not an accredited college or university, is not authorized to grant degrees, and does not issue credits or transcripts recognized by any other institution or employer. Any certificate offered on this site is commemorative only. Starvard is not affiliated with Harvard University or Stanford University.

3. Acceptable use

• Use the site for personal, non-commercial learning.
• Do not copy substantial portions of the site to republish as your own work.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, scrape at abusive volume, or gain unauthorized access to the site or its infrastructure.
• Do not use Starvard content to misrepresent your qualifications. A Starvard certificate is a souvenir, not a credential.

4. Intellectual property

Course text, artwork, video, and design on this site are owned by The Studio or its contributors, except where a page credits someone else. You may quote brief passages with attribution and a link. All other rights are reserved.

5. No warranties

The site and its content are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. This section works together with the Disclaimer: rely on anything here at your own risk, and verify what matters.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Studio and Starvard shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of this site or reliance on its content.

7. Changes

Courses may be added, edited, corrected, or retired at any time without notice. These terms may be updated; the date at the top of this page will change when they are. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any dispute should first be brought to us directly; we would much rather talk it out.
